Obama's done lots of stuff -- teaching, state legislature, writing books, etc. -- but "community organizer" seems like an odd one to fixate on.

I thought it was odd they fixated on that as well. After reading the link, I also think Billmon's theory is probably right. Ugh.
As of this comment, there are 460+ comments on the Billmon post. Seems like what Billmon wrote generated some discussion.
