Ugh. This is insane. Those cops used a crazy amount of force to restrain (and injure) someone who was being peaceful. We live in a police state. The illusion that it is something else is very dim.
The last several years have really changed how the police operate. I've seen this sort of thing ('this' meaning what used to be called police brutality against obviously nonviolent and nonthreatening people) more and more, and if I were, say, this guy, I'd probably have something to say about the fact that it was a black cop that first started giving the black reverend a hard time.
Well, this got my blood pumping! ARRRGGGHHH! We keep telling our children that the world is a much better place than ever! I guess we're all liars.
