Everyone knows The Onion is satire, right?
This op/ed, purported to be by ex-President Jimmy Carter, is frackin' hilarious.
It's also - by far - the foulest thing I have ever linked to. I'm not sure it's work-safe. There are no pictures, but there are also no words in it that you can say at a family dinner, either.
The funniest part is that it's pretty much completely true. As much as Carter gets dumped on by politicians these days, he is looking smarter and smarter every passing day.
Oh, just go read the frackin' thing.

The Rise and Fall of TV Journalism
I wish I had the time (or the caffeine) to add some commentary....
As is, just check out this video... it' s a great bit of satire.
Found via Notes From a Teacher: Mark on Media, a great sight for keeping up with emerging trends in journalism.
Also found at Adrian Monck's place.

Feminist Movement Appoints Man As Leader
I've shared at least one post that links to this bit from The Onion, but it's too good not to post on.
Some of the best satire I've seen in a long time:
"All the feminist movement needed to do was bring on someone who had the balls to do something about this glass ceiling business," said McGowan, who quickly closed the 23.5 percent gender wage gap by "making a few calls to the big boys upstairs." "In the world of gender identity and empowered female sexuality, it's all about who you know."
