Check this out.

Yes, some of us do have zero tolerance for your foul mouth. We cringe to know someone like you is a substitute high school teacher....the kids already have problems. Grow up Dennis A. Dugan!

1. There is no evidence that I used anything but respectful language at work. Suggesting that because I use so-called "foul" language in my personal life means I use it at work is pretty insulting; it suggests that I have no control over what I say (and if that's the case, then how can you criticize me for my word choice?).

2. I heard plenty of foul language when I was a sub - and don't think for a second it was all from students. I wouldn't worry too much about an errant former sub if I were you, Anon @ 7:04.

3. Apparently the irony of the link was lost on you.

Strange. I am not a big fan of foul language either. But I haven't noticed Dennis coming to my house and talking nasty. When I see his bad words, it is when I go (willingly, I might add) to his website. Don't like it, don't read it. I am capable of skipping quite a bit of his stuff that I disagree with, but it is his site.

If we act at work like we do in our private lives, most of us would probably be unemployed. I am still in my jammies. Can't do that at work. I flirt with my wife, can't do that at work. I think most of us are grown up enough to act appropriately for the situation. Having said that, I have had teachers in school with some pretty bad language, and not just in PE!

I cringe at the idea of you being a teacher, too. But its not because of your potty mouth. ;)

Hmmm. Did you apply some troll bait to your blog before posting this?

Jen, I think what's going on here is that my blog has attracted a fair amount of folks who don't really use the Internet that much.

They come for the LCSD stuff, and they stay - probably on accident - for other things.

It's the only reasonable explanation I have for the apparent attempt to hold the Internet to some other standard, like, say, that of a small, conservative Oregon town.

Or, as a friend of mine said today*, "they don't get the Internet."

*I'm paraphrasing from memory... this might not be even close. Said friend should correct me if I'm misremembering.

The other way to say it is that if you consider half a year of posting about the LCSD troll bait**, then yes. Yes I did.

**I wonder what kind of trolls are going to be attracted by all the Hasso posts?

To answer your final question, it starts with an "H" and ends with an "asso." Fuck, that's funny.

Jen, are you high? =)

Lebanon school district is being run by incompetant F*cktards (well Rick Alexander is really the only who truly fits that description...) and anon @ 7:04 is worried about a former sub whose blog has a little course language. and to blame problems on Him.... how do we say... "that does not follow."
you can only shield your child's eyes for so long, eventually they will grow up and hopefully think for him or her self.
